Hahahaha Apple and their Leather

So, I decide to give that leather case Apple announced yesterday a look over. LMAO, get this... the thing costs $100, gives you no access to the iPod's screen or controls. It's sole selling point is that it has an "ingenious black ribbon" that you can tug on to slide your iPod up.

OK, now keep in mind this is a manual process... tuging on this ribbon... but don't worry because according to Apple, this ribbon allows you to pull the ipod up enough to see the screen, or all the way out... Thank god.

I think it was Jeff who once told me that Apple has a way of spinning defects as features. Well, for $100 you can now buy a cheesy leather case from them that allows you no access to the iPod's screen or controls... I think it's safe to say they aren't just spinning them as features, they are now marketing them and holding press conferences over them.

Call it a hunch, but I don't think this "ingenious" ribbon is going to be the craze they beileve, nor will their unispeaker with the iPod dock.

I just want to be a 2 year old for a moment and say... if you buy this... you are stupid, and I will throw rocks at you. Not really with the rocks... but you really are stupid if you buy it. Not just stupid like, oops I just missed my left turn stupid, but like stupid as in buying flood insurance from a traveling salesman in a completely landlocked location. Or like stupid as in they didn't warn me that the coffee was hot, and thus when I dumped it all over my lap, like I love to do... it burnt me!

Hahahaha... I swear Apple is going to go bankrupt when the world finally remembers that they are a computer manufacturer. Has anybody else noticed that there isn't a single computer on their bestseller list at the Apple store?
