Back from India...

... and back to the grind.

Well, I arrived back in the US almost a full week ago and it seems like my productivity has just vanished since then. I have been slowly trying to get back into the habit of being home and doing the things I used to do but I was in India just long enough to forget what those things are.

Or maybe being in India made those things not matter so much anymore. It's tough to say. What I will say is that I'm excited to be back to what I know. Not that I wouldnt' be first in line to visit India again, it's just that there is a subtle comfort that comes with things like your cell phone working everywhere or your family being a maximum of 4 hours away... you know... the little things.

The timing must have been harder than I anticipated. I still get exhausted about 11 am here. which was about when I would go back to the hotel and sleep in India.

Did I bring home a ton of souvaniers? No. I brought home just enough for my family and boyfriend, whose got seized in customs for some random reason that I have yet to fathom, but hey. I didn't want to bring back lame "India Rocks" shirts or something cheesy like that. So, I searched for actual culturally distinct items. I think it would have been more of a hit with my loved ones had I just brough back video games and India Rocks t-shirts.

Well, I guess the moral of the story is I'm back, and I'm safe, and I'm going to post pictures soon!

Welcome back J...it's kind of late but I decided I would see what you've been up to, and found that you had been home.
